In private Yoga Therapy sessions I offer a deeply personalised approach centred around your goals and individual needs.

Who I Work With

I primarily work with people who have persistent pain and long-term illnesses, helping you find ways to live with more ease and a fulfilled life using yoga principles.

You can benefit from yoga therapy if you suffer from:

  • Acute or chronic pain

  • Sleep issues/fatigue

  • Stress/anxiety

  • Orthopaedic pain

  • Digestion issues

  • Headaches/migraines

  • Respiratory disorders

Yoga can also help improve your athletic performance, promote healthy ageing, and give you a smoother transition to perimenopause.

Yoga can be used as either primary or complementary therapy, depending on your unique situation. If you are suffering from a severe injury or a long-term illness, you can confirm with your physician if yoga therapy should be part of your recovery plan. We will discuss this in greater depth in your consultation call.

First we'll begin with an Intro Questionnaire to help me get to know you.

FAQs and more information

You've got questions. We've got answers.

How can I get started?

Each of my client's journeys begins by completing the introduction questionnaire. Once I have some preliminary information we'll schedule a free consultation call to help me understand your current situation and your goals. If we are a good fit then we'll create a plan for us working together moving forward.

What does a Yoga Therapist do?

A certified yoga therapist works to help you find a solution to your particular ailment through yoga exercises and meditation. When you first start, your therapist will conduct an initial assessment to find out what the focus of the class needs to be (reduce stress, aid in physical recovery, improve digestion, etc.).

The yoga therapist will then focus on guiding you through the lessons, practicing different breathing techniques, postures, and mental mindfulness in order to improve your condition.

What conditions can be treated with yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy can be used to treat:

Back pain, knee pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, foot pain, neck pain, injuries, heart conditions, asthma, chronic fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraines, arthritis, respiratory disorders, IBS/Poor digestion, athletic performance, hypertension, Multiple sclerosis, Chemotherapy side effects, stress, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, chronic and long term pain and long term illnesses.

Where are the sessions held?

You can join me at my studio at Windsor Plantation, St George, or opt for online sessions if that’s more convenient for you.

What are the pricing options?

For a standard one-on-one 60 minute session the price is 140BDS/70USD. Group pricing varies on length of session, number of attendees, etc.

If cost is a concern please reach out and we can discuss other options.

Is Yoga a complementary therapy?

Yoga can be both a primary and complementary therapy. This depends on your type of ailment, the instructions provided by your physician, and your therapist’s treatment.

If you are suffering from a severe injury, your physician may prescribe physical or yoga therapy as a complementary therapy for recovery. If you are suffering from other types of ailments that don’t require a doctor’s prescription for physical therapy (like improving poor digestion or athletic performance) then yoga can function as a primary therapy method.

Looking for a group class?

In addition to private yoga sessions I offer bespoke group classes. Whether for friends, family or colleagues, moving and breathing together is always plenty of fun. Plan a class for a girls day out, birthday or just a get together.
